Tesla brings its upcoming semi Semi-Car Semi for some of its customers. One of these customers – UPS – recently praised the car.

A Twitter account for Illinois UPS posted a video from the floor on Monday and said that it offered "smooth" goal = "_ empty" Trip.

Electrek reported on Friday that Semi had arrived at Arkansas headquarters of another customer, the cargo company JB Hunt.

The Semi version, which every company saw, is probably a prototype, although Tesla declined to comment. In addition to UPS and JB Hunt, clients for Semi include Walmart, Pepsi, Anheuser-Busch and FedEx.

The production for Semi will begin in 2019, Tesla said. The company will need to increase the capacity of its assembly plant in Fremont, California, to convert its battery factory in Nevada to produce cars or use a plant from another company to perform this timeline.

During the second quarter of earnings in the company, the CEO Elon Musk said that he can not answer questions about where the company will produce future cars. Tesla said that it takes about two years to start production at the plant that it will build in China.

Tesla says that Paul a range of 500 miles per charge, an innovative cab design and the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in five seconds without load and in 20 seconds when carrying 80,000 lbs of cargo.

Some in the freight industry have questioned these figures. In February, Martin Daum, head of the truck and bus division of Daimler, proposed Bloomberg that the range of trucks will ignore the laws of physics.

When asked about Daum's assessment of Tesla's first earnings in May, Musk questioned Daum's knowledge of physics.

"He knows little about physics, I know him, I would be happy to discuss with him a physical discussion," Musk said.
