Super Eagles Main coach Gernot Rohr stated that he wants revenge when Nigeria is faced with Bafana Bafana South Africa's next 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
South Africa won by two unfulfilled goals for the last time when both sides met in 2017, which was the result of a group opening.
Since then, three more group games have been played with four teams in the group that are still competing for the best qualifying places that have yet to be decided.

Speaking about the upcoming second match against South Africa, Rohr wants his players to avenge the defeat they have experienced in front of their home fans.
in the report Kick off magazine, Rohr showed that although Super Eagles have won all remaining qualifying matches since the defeat in South Africa is still painful.
He said, “The defeat is still sore, and we want to avenge him.
“They beat us with strong counterattacks in Uyo.
“We dominated the game and actually played well in the first half, but did not score.
"And then they attacked us on the counter, one by the end, when we clicked on the equalizer."
Rohr went on to analyze why the Super Eagles lost to South Africa and failed to score.
He said, “It was in June 2017, which is now quite a long time ago.
“I remember that at that time we had a lot of players, and this match was held between seasons.
"I am happy that this time everyone will be available, and our team will be able to avenge this defeat."
