Super Eagles camp opens in Asaba for South Africa and Uganda – Football


Super Eagles camp has opened in Asaba ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa and an international friendly game against Uganda during the international break.

Nigeria will face the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Johannesburg on Saturday, November 17 for Matchday Four of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers.

They will then travel back to Asaba, Nigeria for the friendly game against Uganda on Tuesday, November 20.

Ahead of the games, the Super Eagles camp opened in Asaba on Monday, November 12 with Mikel Agu the first arrival.

The trio of Kenneth Omeruo, Bryan Idowu and Samuel Chukwueze are expected to hit camp next after a photo of them together at the Frankfurt Airport emerged on Instagram.

It was on Omeruo who shared the photo on his Instagram. “Good to meet my guys on transit.. #Nationalteam #o#omeruo #supereagles @chukwuezesamuel8 @idovubryan,” the Leganés defender wrote alongside the photo.

According to information on the Super Eagles official Twitter handle, the Super Eagles will only have one open training session ahead of the game against South Africa and a media parley on Monday, November 19 ahead of the game against Uganda.
