Real Madrid: Tickets sold out for Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid clash
Real Madrid LaLiga Santander season set to begin
It has been announced that there isn’t a single ticket left available for the clash between Celta Vigo and Real Madrid which will open both team’s respective LaLiga Santander campaigns.
Tuesday morning saw Celta Vigo announce that the match was a sell-out, the first of the campaign, and supporters without a ticket by this point would ultimately be left disappointed.
Some 5,000 tickets were put up on general sale and they were snapped up almost immediately. However, whether or not the stadium will be completely full for the visit of Zinedine Zidane and Eden Hazard depends entirely on season ticket holders.
Around 22,000 fans hold season tickets at the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos, and if they all attend the fixture then it will be a complete sell-out.
However, recent history shows that even when Celta Vigo sell all available tickets, there are often gaps where season ticket holders haven’t attended.
