Super Eagles onward Moses Simon said he is confident that Nigeria will choose a ticket for the 2019 African Cup (AFCON) before clashing with Libya on Saturday, September 12th.
Super Eagles missed the qualification for the last two AFCON tournaments in 2015 and 2017 after winning South Africa in 2013.
To claim that the Super Eagles have a substitute for group E against Libya, who occupy the top four points after a draw against South Africa, who also have the same number of points
Super Eagles are third in the group for three points ahead of the Seychelles qualifying race.
With two teams ready to move from the group stage to the tournament to be held in Cameroon, the Super Eagles forward is confident in the development of countries.
Simon revealed his views in a statement published on the official twitter accounting Football Federation of Nigeria (NFF).
On the eve of the clash with Libya, Simon said that the supporters of the team should be ready to raise the victory of the team.
New Levante forward said “We all want to participate in the Nations Cup next year. We will take our chances in both games and make every effort.
"We encourage our fans to wear green and white and fill the stadium on match day."
Simon, who missed 2018 FIFA World Cup included in the number of players invited Gernot Rohr for the collision with Libya and will look at his first appearance for the national team since his injury.
