Katsina United beat Kvara United 3: 1 to reach the semifinals, while the Kano bells had to overcome CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Enyimba International 4-2 go to the semi-finals.
The semi-final between the two North African rivals took place on Temple Agege Soccer in Lagos.

The game ended 4: 1 in favor of Kano Pillars after a penalty, as they booked a place in the final.
Rangers defeated Nasaravu United
Enugu Rangers International beat Nasarawa United 4-2 in 90 minutes to reserve a place in the 2018 Aiteo Cup final.
The game was played on Stadium Sunny Abacha, Kano in 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) the champions will compete with Kano Columns in the final.
