Champions League The goalkeeper didn’t travel to Eibar on Saturday
After their humiliating 3-0 away loss to Eibar on Saturday, Real Madrid turned their attention to Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Roma, as Santiago Solari looks to secure their passage to the knockout stages and forget their domestic woes.
Los Blancos returned to training on a dull Sunday morning at Valdebebas after losing in the league for the fifth time this season and failing to capitalise on the draw between rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
Nacho, Sergio Reguilon and Casemiro were all absent as was Alvaro Odriozola after the Spanish right-back picked up an injury in the defeat at the Municipal de Irupua, the extent of which is not yet known.
Ahead of Real‘s trip to Rome, Keylor Navas returned to the group after undergoing stem cell treatment on his knee.
Those that started against Eibar did a recovery session whilst the rest of the squad carried out more intensive work and running, including Marcos Llorente, Jesus Vallejo, Javi Sanchez and Castilla’s Moha.
