Business owners in Nigeria to get loans up to N10m – Business


Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbaggio showed that the federal government is working on a loan facility for business owners in Nigeria.

In accordance with Daily Post, the vice president said the loans, which will be free, will range from N2m to N10m.

Osinbaggio said this during a speech at the MSMEs Award 2018 ceremony, which took place in the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja.

V.P. also said that Bank of Industry (BOI), Federal Internal Revenue Service (FIRS), Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) and Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) will be part of the credit initiative.

Osinbajo conducts Nigeria’s technology space to world leaders

In July 2018, Osinbaggio was in the United States talk with leading technology players about investment opportunities in the technology and entertainment industry in Nigeria.

The Vice President led the Nigeria delegation to Silicon Valley in San Francisco and Hollywood in Los Angeles, California to meet with industry leaders in the world.

Osinbaggio also met with Google executives at the company's headquarters in Silicon Valley.

Yemi Osinbajo currently serves as Acting President after President Bukhari’s departure to London on Friday, August 3, for 10 day working holiday.
