Buhari appoints Masanawa to head printing and minting coy

President Muhammad Bukhari approved the appointment of Mr. Abbas Umar Masanava to the post of Managing Director of the Nigerian Press and Mint Service.

The statement was transmitted through correspondence dated August 28, 2018 in response to a request for approval sent to the president by the Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emphilel, and which the Daily Trust received on Sunday.

The president, in accordance with the leaked documents, also approved the appointment of Abubakar Sule Mingiberg, Tundji Kazem and Chris Orew as the company's managers.

Prior to his erection, Masanava was executive director for finance, strategy and marketing for the company.

He was born on August 7, 1969 and comes from the state of Kacin. He is a graduate of the Agricultural Economics University of Ahmadu Bello, Dawn in 1992.

Minbiber was born on November 1, 1965, and originally from the state of Cano. He graduated from Baero University in Kano in 1989 with a degree in Business Management.

Addressing the president with approval, Emephile said that "the career and experience of Masanawa, like ED in the company, puts him in a unique position to take over the leadership of the corporation.

"Similarly, the combination of private sector and public sector experience with Tundji Kazema, Abubakar Sule Minzhiberg and Chris Orew will be immeasurably beneficial to the company's management."
