All Progressives Congress, APC, has won all the 10 House of Representatives seat in the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly election in Niger State.
In the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state, Shehu Sale Slow of the APC got 39,889 votes to defeat PDP’s Garba Dukku who scored 23,747 votes for Rijau/Magama Federal Constituency.
For Borgu-Agwara Federal Constituency, APC’s Jafaru Mohammed Agwara polled 32,848 votes against PDP’s Abdurahman Bala Gambo who got 20,357 votes.
Also, in Bida-Katcha-Gbako Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Saidu Musa of the APC polled 57,746 to defeat PDP’s Sharu Mohammed Baba who got 37,993 votes.
Similarly, in Suleja-Gurara-Tafa Federal Constituency, Abubakar Lado Suleja of the APC scored 54,224 votes against his counterpart in the PDP, Dalandi T. Iyah who got 38,732 votes.
In Chanchaga Federal Constituency, the incumbent APC member Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago won with 39,391 votes against the PDP candidate Abdullahi Buba who scored 17,869 votes.
In Kontagora-Mariga-Mashegu-Wushi shi Federal Constituency, APC polled 95,454 votes against PDP’s Sa’adatu Kolo who scored 25,182 votes.
Our correspondent reports that APC’s candidate, Shehu Barwa Beji also won in Bosso/ Paiko constituency.
In Shiroro/ Munya, Lapai/ Agaie and Lavun/ Edati/ Mokwa Federal constituencies, APC’s Saidu Umar, Mahmoud Mohammed Agaie and Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi won respectively.
