APC day dreaming about winning Kwara – PDP leaders

Leaders of the Democratic People's Party (PDP) in Quara state said that the All-Progressive Congress (APC) can only dream of winning the state in the upcoming general elections, saying that the party is worthless in the state.

This was the position of the leaders of the PDP, who refused to make mistakes in the APC, but which now became part of the new executive committee of the party in the state according to a scheme designed to harmonize old and new party members.

Led by Alhaji Mohammed Sani Abubakar, the former deputy chairman, who retained his position on the new scheme, the group at a briefing in the media in Ilorin on Monday thanked the leadership that is now being offered to the party by Senate President Dr Bukole Saraki.

They said that their experience with Saraki proves that he is ready to grant the party's freedom of action at the state level, as he concentrates on giving the PDP a positive outlook at the national level.

Other old PDP members who retained their position in the new party executive body include Barr. Moisei Ibimi (Financial Secretary), Alhaji Khaliru Dan Zoho Mahmoud (Young Leader) and Alhaji Mohammed Khaliru (Assistant Secretary of the Financial Secretary), and the head of Ebun Afolayan.

The group debunked the insinuations that Saraki was determined to seize the party from old members, pointing out that most of the old party leaders still hold their positions after agreement, adding that "in today's Quar it would be impossible for any meaningful politician to deny his connection with the political structure Saraki at some point. "

He described those who left the PDP with the entrance of Saraki to the party, as simple activists, and not real politicians at the grassroots level.

Barrister Moses Ibimi, who read the statement of the group, said: "APC is dead on arrival in Quara, he is not good at this state. Anyone who is interested in joining the APC must go to the state of Kacin or, since it is far away, maybe they can go to the Osun state, but here, if you want to be a real politician, you must join the PDP.

"Today in Kvar, the PDP is a moving train, ready to crush anything in its path, and so we turn to our brothers and sisters who are still there to come back here because this is the real place.

"Therefore, we use this forum to induce some of our members who have been deceived to damage other smaller parties by our former chairman, Akogun Oyedepo and Prince of the Resurrection of Fagbemi, to return home, as everyone has equal opportunities in the PDP under the leader of the Bukola Saraki. Our doors are widely open to both our former members and to every progressive Kvarna.

"We must be careful with selfish and selfish politicians who can inadvertently transfer the affairs of our state to" foreigners "who can not offer us other than to enslave us and use our resources for personal use."
