The organizers 2018 African Film Academy Awards paid tribute to the producer of the film, Chris Ekeimbe,

The founder and chief executive officer of the AMAA, Mir Aniam Osigve, asked the guests to observe a minute of silence in honor of the late producer, who died on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Anyam Osigwe praised the character of the deceased Ekezhimbe, who, according to her, is very passionate about Nigerian films and films throughout Africa.

Movie producer Chris Ekeembe dies a few months after Bambino’s death

Nollywood producer, Chris Ekejimbe was dead four months after the death of his friend and creative partner, Bambino Anachina,

Ekejimbe, before his death on Saturday, October 20, 2018, was a former board member of the Association of Key Producers of Nollywood, ANCOPS.

According to QEDng, the producer died at Lagos University Hospital, LUT, after several weeks of illness.
