In a statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagi, the Governor said that the state government remains committed to a policy that does not exclude any segment of society from development projects and programs, noting that political initiatives will be presented at the Alagordan Summit next month.

The summit in 2018 in Alagordam should mark the second year of the governor’s office and demonstrate the government’s commitment to the government of the people, its efforts to improve lives and maintain human dignity.

According to him, “We are very pleased with this event this year, because we are celebrating with people, and, like our mantra, people are our attention. They are the cause of all our job creation programs, the fight against human trafficking, the reforms in basic education and primary health care, and the fight against pedophiles.

“It cannot be denied that investing in people is the most profitable and useful in any society. That is why we put people at the center of our intervention. ”

Recall that Governor Obaseki has mobilized various stakeholders for the event, including trade unions, market women, the organized private sector (IPO), traditional institutions and senior business leaders in recent weeks.

The governor was at the 24th edition of the Nigerian Economic Summit, where he said that his commitment to human development in the state stems from a desire to nurture the repertoire of human capital, which will not only stimulate the local economy, but also compete with their peers around the world opportunities in the coming decades.

He was at the event, among other things, the rally of the best business executives to host the Alaghodaro Summit in Benin City next month with a theme that focuses on Edo People.
