138 films will be screened at 2018 AFRIFF – Movies

A total of eight editions of the African International Film Festival, AFRIFF, will feature 150 films.

Speaking with Pulse at the start of the festival program, AFRIFF founder Chioma Ude said that 52 films presented on the African continent are short films.

The founder of the festival said that his eighth edition of The Many Faces of Woman is a theme.

In his speeches, the French ambassador to Nigeria, Jerome Pasquier, highlighted the great contribution of the French embassy to the film festival, hoping that he would continue a very enriching partnership.

Consul General Laurent Polonso commented on his enthusiasm for working with the festival, while Amachi Okobi emphasized Access Bank's commitment to art.

Opening with a visually fascinating epic western tale "Sew My Skin Winter", the story that after the myth of the South African thug in the pre-apartheid South Africa, 2018 AFIRFF will end with the long-awaited "Nigerian Prince", a Nigerian enterprise managed by the capable Faraday Okoro.
